Down’s Syndrome Powerlifter Made Pembrokeshire Proud in Special Olympics in Berlin

A powerlifter from Milford Haven made Pembrokeshire proud by winning gold at the Special Olympics in Berlin.

Bleddyn Gibbs who has Down’s Syndrome is among athletes representing Wales as part of Team GB and has equalled his personal best in the three powerlifting categories lifting 140kg in the squat, 75kg in the bench and 15okg in the deadlift.
