Pembrokeshire Action for The Homeless (PATH)

Pembrokeshire Action for The Homeless (PATH) is a organisation that provides homeless people or people at risk of homelessness with advice, assistance and advocacy to enable people to a safe, secure and affordable accommodation.

The service offer a range of services to help people secure and/or maintain a tenancy which include: 

  • Resettlement packages
  • Debt advice
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Starter packs for rough sleepers or new tenants
  • Bond schemes
  • Travel warren schemes

Causes of homelessness include:

  • The breakdown of a relationship
  • Loss of a job
  • Serious injury or illness
  • Substance abuse
  • Debts and poor money management
  • Unexpected eviction
  • Bereavement
  • Domestic violence
  • Mental health issues

The service also do counselling sessions on a one-to-one basis either in person or remotely online for people with mental health issues that include:

  • Depression / Low Mood
  • Suicidal Thoughts
  • Abuse / Neglect
  • Stress & Anxiety
  • Eating Disorder
  • Mediation/Conflict
  • Bereavement / Grief
  • Anger Management
  • Trauma
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Addiction
  • Relationship / Family Breakdown

The service also provides donations for emergency sleeping pods or tents, food packs, warm clothing and hygiene packages.
