Torch Theatre

Established in 1977, the Torch Theatre is one of only three building-based producing theatres in the whole of Wales.
Since the late 1980s, it has been the only cinema in the town.

Theatr Gwaun

Built in 1885 as a Temperance hall, it was converted briefly for use as a school in January 1895 before being converted into a cinema in the 1920s.
It was originally known as The Studio Cinema until 1994, where the venue was refurbished and its name was changed into Theatr Gwaun.
