Employment for People with Disability or Ill Health
People with health conditions or disabilities that affects their ability to work want to be able to proper paid jobs.
Support is available from the Job Centre Plus Disability Employment Advisor who will support people who want to work but have a health condition or disability that affects what they can do. The Disability Employment Advisor in Pembrokeshire is Christine Bergstrom.
Support is also provided by a number of Support Organisations who are funded through the local authority and grants. The organisations that support people with disabilities are listed below:

Services that support Employment for People with Disability
Communities 4 Work

Communities 4 Work is a voluntary programme to help adults who have a Community First postcode to get into employment.
Experience 4 Industry

Experience 4 Industry (E4I) work with young people aged 18-24 who are NEET and furthest from the labour market providing skill development, increased confidence in office management, construction and grounds maintenance.
Get Going

Norman Industries

Norman Industries specialises in designing and manufacturing wood furniture, ranging from chairs to bread boards.
PaCE

Parents and Childcare Employment (PaCE) can cover childcare while parents undertake volunteering and work experience and gaining skills and getting jobs.
Pembrokeshire Frame

Supported work practice in a real business environment, with appropriate guidance, certificated and in house training to enable the development of a work ethic and skills relevant to the local employment market.
Workways +

Workways + offers support to gain employment including 1:1 mentoring, training, work experience, support to gain volunteering and support to find work.
